Decommissioning

As part of the Peterhead Energy Hub we have the capabilities to deliver a full onshore decommissioning service.

Peterhead

An Ideal Location for Decommissioning Large Structures

Our main facilities in Peterhead extend to over 6 acres, which provides an ideal location for decommissioning large structures, and our experienced workforce have the knowledge and expertise to produce an efficient and trusted service.

The port has extensive experience in the oil & gas industry. The recently extended Smith Quay is an ideal berth for handling decommissioning projects. The site is well suited for deep-drafted vessels or projects that require a large area of working space adjacent to the berth.
